Employees may contact Empower Retirement at (800) 634-5091 or go to the website TexasSaver and sign up.
How do I apply for Texas Income Protection Plan (TIPP) benefits?
The Texas Income Protection Plan provides employees with money to help pay your bills if an accident or other health-related conditions make it impossible for you to work. Employees can contact TIPP at (855) 604-6230 for any questions regarding short-term and long-term disability or log on to Texas Income Protection Plan. Click on GET STARTED and file a claim to start the process.

How do I submit a public information or personal information request?
To obtain public information related to HR matters, employee relations, or selection materials, a written request must be sent through the TDCJ Public Information Request Department. Requests may be submitted via:
