A Message from the Director

Bobby Lumpkin, Executive DirectorSexual harassment is a form of illegal sex discrimination that is prohibited, and for which the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) has zero tolerance. In order to prevent sexual harassment, TDCJ also prohibits any discourteous conduct of a sexual nature that a reasonable person would find offensive, or which is known to be unwelcome to the person against whom it is directed. Retaliation is also prohibited.

TDCJ encourages every employee and all other individuals to promptly report any incidents of such conduct. During normal business hours (8 - 5, Monday through Friday, excluding national holidays and additional days when offices are closed in observance of a national holiday), agency employees may contact EEO Intake, Human Resources Headquarters, at (936) 437-4240. During hours other than normal business hours, agency employees may contact on-call Intake Officer at: (936) 661-6339.
