Office of the Attorney General (OAG) 2026 Crime Victim Services Conference

Description: The Office of the Attorney General’s Crime Victim Services Division is hosting a multidisciplinary conference that will offer information, instruction, and networking opportunities focused on victim services and personal resilience. This conference is specifically designed for victim advocates, criminal justice professionals, medical and mental health providers, and others working directly with victims of crime.

Conference on Crimes Against Women (CCAW) Summit: Beyond the Bounds

Date: September 28-29, 2026

Location: South Padre Island, Texas

Description: The summit serves as an extension of the Conference on Crimes Against Women, focusing on the unique gender-based challenges faced by coastal cities, rural towns, and resort communities.

National Organization for Victim Advocacy (NOVA) 52nd Annual Training Event

Date: September 29-October 1, 2026

Location: Virtual

Description: This year’s theme, “Stronger Together,” speaks to the importance of coming together to create a future where support and justice go hand in hand. Victim advocates, crisis responders and allied professionals stand stronger together, the same way NOVA stood with the Las Vegas community following the Route 91 tragedy. NOVA’s Annual Training Event is where we learn, connect, and reaffirm our shared commitment to justice and healing.

Crime Victims Institute (CVI) Conference

Date: October 14-16, 2026

2026 Texas Council on Family Violence (TCFV) Statewide Conference

Date: October 27-29, 2026

Location: 3001 Kalahari Blvd, Round Rock, TX 78665

Description: The Texas Council on Family Violence Statewide Conference is for domestic violence advocates and allied professionals. This year’s theme is “I’m OK, Are You OK?” connections. conversations. communities. This theme represents a powerful call to ignite your spirit and elevate your advocacy. 2027 BIPP Conference for Battering Intervention & Prevention Programs

Date: March 31–April 2, 2027

Description: Join state and national presenters for practical tools, emerging trends, and strategies to strengthen BIPP work and coordinated community responses. Stay tuned to the TCFV website for more information.

2027 Texas Victim Assistance Training (TVAT) Academy

The TVAT Academy is a free, four-day training. The TVAT Academy is designed to provide a foundational level victim assistance training for new victim services professionals, criminal justice professionals, volunteers, and allied professionals with less than three years of experience who routinely work with victims of crime. The TxCVC will, however, review all applications. The next TVAT Academy will be held in 2027.
