Summary of Incident:  On 08/22/93, the subject, in the afternoon, was at a local hospital in Fredericksburg, Gillespie County, Texas. His girlfriend, Yolanda Garza, was in the parking lot and the subject shot her with a 25-caliber handgun. The subject was observed putting Ms. Yolanda Garza into his vehicle and driving off after threatening a witness. The subject drove on I-10 to the Hill County Motel in Camp Wood, Texas, where he rented a room for 2 days. Police officers arrived shortly after midnight on 08/24/93 and found the subject inside the motel room with the body of the victim. The subject had drank a 12 pack of beer and also took an unknown number of pills that were in the victim's purse.
