Miguel Martinez named Deputy Division Director of Correctional Institutions Division

The Texas Department of Criminal Justice is pleased to announce the selection of Miguel Martinez as the Deputy Division Director for the Correctional Institutions Division.

Martinez began his career as a correctional officer at the Connally Unit in 1995. He has promoted through the ranks, holding every correctional title, to include his most recent position as the Region IV director. Martinez has over 25 years of experience with the agency and a vast knowledge in the corrections field. Martinez’s strong leadership qualities and experience will be an asset as we face future challenges and pursue new opportunities.
