Public Awareness - Corrections Today Conference slated for March 14 in Dallas
The Texas Department of Criminal Justice will hold the year’s second Public Awareness - Corrections Today (PACT) Conference on Saturday, March 14 at the Gateway Church in Dallas.
The PACT Conference includes presentations about Texas’ criminal justice system and gives interested parties an opportunity to meet and ask question of TDCJ staff members. Anyone who would like to learn more about criminal justice is invited to attend, including offenders' families and advocates, community leaders, prison ministries, those with an interest in volunteering and the general public.
The Dallas PACT conference will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Gateway Church, 12123 Hillcrest Drive.
PACT conferences are coordinated by the TDCJ Ombudsman’s Office and are free to attend. Registration can be done onsite upon arrival.
