The Rehabilitation Programs Division (RPD) serves as the centralized administration and management of activities related to inmate programs within TDCJ. The RPD is responsible for ensuring that all TDCJ programs operate with consistency and quality with respect to planning, implementation, and the integration of the delivery of treatment programs across divisional lines.
As the coordinating entity, the RPD facilitates inmate programs inter-divisionally, cooperating with the Parole Division, the Community Justice Assistance Division, the Health Services Division, the Reentry and Integration Division, the Correctional Institutions Division, the Victim Services Division, the Windham School District, the Private Facility Contract Monitoring/Oversight Division, the Board of Pardons and Parole, and Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations and volunteers to provide effective, evidence-based and evidence informed treatment and programmatic services for individual inmates throughout the incarceration and supervision period.
