Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.), Southern Methodist University, Dedman School of Law; Master of Arts in Spanish, University of Texas at San Antonio; Bachelor of Arts in English and Spanish, Southern Methodist University.
Background: Ms. Molina has practiced law for 20 years, serving as an Assistant District Attorney in Bexar County for 12 years and as an Assistant Attorney General in the Texas Attorney General’s Office, Habeas Corpus Section. Ms. Molina also served as the Municipal Judge in Sandy Oaks, Texas. Most recently, she was a partner in her law firm, Duarte & Molina, and worked as a criminal defense attorney, handling adult and juvenile matters. Ms. Molina was appointed by Governor Abbott to the Texas Medical Board, where she sat as a Public Member of the Board, and was the Chair of the Licensure Committee and the Chair of the Boundaries Taskforce. She is also a past member of the Emerging Leader Board for Southern Methodist University, Dedman School of Law.
